Makarska

Welcome

Guest House Damir is a family-run house in the centre of Makarska, a few minutes on foot from the Old Town, Kacic Square, the harbour and the town beaches. The house is not newly built, but it has been fully renovated, with new furniture and everything needed for a pleasant, quiet stay.

The Baban family has been welcoming travellers since 1968, and the house is now run by the third generation. Guests can choose between comfortable double rooms and spacious apartments, most of them with a private balcony or terrace and views towards the town, the courtyard or the slopes of Biokovo.

In front of the house there is a large yard with room for many cars, so staying in the centre of town is an advantage rather than a problem. Bikers and cyclists have been welcome guests here for decades.
